Standards of Performance and Conduct

Personal Appearance

Personal appearance should be appropriate to the job and clothing should be neat, clean and present a favorable image of the University. Some departments, particularly those who deal with the public on a face-to-face basis, have specific dress standards. Supervisors in those areas will explain both the standards and the business needs for the requirement. Uniforms and clothing issued by the University should be worn only while at work or in transit.
