Van Driver Familiarization Classes
The GMU Police offers van driver familiarization classes for anyone in the Mason community who will be operating a motorpool or vanpool vehicle. To register, please print the application questionnaire from their site and submit at least 48 hours in advance of the training.
Office of Equity and Diversity Services
Through educational workshops the OEDS ensures that members of the campus community understand their rights and responsibilities, specifically in regard to maintaining a learning and working environment free from illegal discrimination. OEDS creates, designs, and disseminates programs that bring diverse people together in an encouraging and welcoming environment.
Conflict Resolution and Diversity Workshops
The Multicultural Resource Center offers Diversity and Conflict Resolution workshops free to all GMU faculty and staff.
English Language Institute (ELI)
ELI classes are available to staff at no cost on a space available basis. When accessing their web site, click onto "Support Services" to get more information about their offerings.
Fiscal Services eVA Training
Fiscal Services is offering a class on purchasing using the new eVA system. Individuals who currently use Limited Purchase Orders (LPOs) and/or American Express cards to purchase goods and services will learn how to process those transactions, as required by the State, through the eVA system.
Information Technology (IT) Training at Mason
The training organizations within Information Technology provide technical workshop/training opportunities to Mason faculty, staff, and students. These organizations include DoIT's IRC, TOPS; LRO, University Libraries, and DoIT's STAR.
George Mason University Libraries' Tutorials
University Libraries provides a series of training sessions that teaches internet and research techniques and skills.
