Congratulations to the 2009 graduates of the New SUPERvisor Series and Customer Service Certificate Program, who were recognized at the Training Recognition Ceremony on June 11.

New SUPERvisor Series -- Program goals and objectives

The goal of the New SUPERvisor Series is to train individuals who supervise one or more employee(s) and have fewer than five years of supervisory experience at Mason.

Requirements:

Classes: Each individual participating in the New SUPERvisor Series must complete a contract choosing six (6) required classes and three (3) optional classes.

Mentor: Select a mentor, with whom you will meet twice a month in 2 half-hour sessions for 10 months (for a total of 10 hours). Complete an electronic mentor journal.

Final Project: Complete a project with either your supervisor or your employee(s). Meet, discuss with your peers (SUPERvisors in the series), and present the project at the Retreat class.
