If you prefer to take public transportation, you have several options.
If riding Metro, exit at the Vienna/Fairfax/GMU stop and exit the station on the north side. From there:
• The free Mason-to-Metro shuttle picks up beside the shelter for Green 1 (see station map). Let the driver know you are looking for University Hall. At the first stop on campus, exit and cross the street. Enter University Hall (it will be right in front of you as you cross in front of the shuttle), and take the elevator to the 2nd floor. • The CUE Bus runs through the city of Fairfax, and is free with a valid Mason ID card. From there, the fastest CUE buses are Gold 1 or Green 1. On either bus, exit once the bus reaches campus. As you exit the bus, University Hall will be the building right in front of you. Enter the building and take the elevator to the 2nd floor.
If coming from Prince William campus, ride the free Prince William Shuttle from the Occoquan Building or Freedom Center. The shuttle drops off at the Sandy Creek Parking Deck and will then stop at Rappahannock River Lane. Exit at Rappahannock River Lane. University Hall will be directly in front of you. Enter the building and take the elevator to the 2nd floor.
If coming from Arlington Campus, enter Metro at Virginia Square/GMU station and travel in the direction of Vienna. Exit at the end of the line at Vienna/Fairfax/GMU station and follow the directions above for "if riding metro".
