All of Mason's employees, hired on or before 12/31/2023, are invited to participate in the survey.
In partnership with Faculty Senate, the Faculty Evaluation of Administrators (FEA) will be launched with the FSE survey. After completing the FSE questions, I/R faculty will advance to the FEA portion of the assessment.
The Faculty and Staff Experience Survey will launch on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, and will be open for about three weeks.
Every employee will receive an email invitation from Gallup with a unique link to the survey. Be on the lookout for this email invitation and reminders!
Yes, you may participate in the survey during work or at another time.
On Wednesday, April 3, 2024 all Mason employees will receive an email from Gallup with a unique link to the survey. The survey is online and can be completed on your smart phone.
Because everyone will receive a unique link, please do not forward your email to others for their use.
If you did not receive a survey invitation email, accidentally deleted it, or otherwise do not have access to the email, the survey is accessible via Gallup. If you access the survey via Gallup, the survey code will be your Net ID (characters to the left of the @ sign in your email).
Employees hired on or before 12/31/2023 are invited to participate in the survey. If you were hired after this date, you will not have access to the survey.
Completing the survey should take approximately 15-20 minutes.
No. You may only participate once in the survey.
While not mandatory, you are highly encouraged to participate. Mason wants to hear from you. As a community we want to celebrate our strengths and co-create solutions to address our challenges.

- Gallup adheres to strict confidentiality rules for survey responses.
- All data collected is stored by Gallup and is kept strictly confidential.
- Individual responses remain confidential and will NOT be shared with Mason or its leadership.
- All responses are aggregated into a larger working groups/divisions consisting of no fewer than five employees to ensure responses cannot be traced back to the individual.
- Gallup creates and issues unique survey links to each employee; Mason will not have access to these links.
- The email invitation from Gallup will NOT ask for any personal information (date of birth, social security number, etc.).

- Gallup creates and issues links that route survey participants to the Gallup survey platform – the survey is not hosted on a Mason server.
