LEAPS Performance Just Got Smarter
Our performance evaluation system just received two upgrades designed to protect your work and make collaboration between supervisors/reviewers and co-planners smoother.
These enhancements are live now—no action needed on your part:
1. Auto‑Save for Notes and Comments

- Your typing now saves automatically—no manual save required.
- Changes are captured 1.5 seconds after you pause, and the system will also auto-save at least every 10 seconds.
2. Shared Rating Access for Co‑Planners

- Supervisors/reviewers and co-planners can now enter or update ratings.
- Comments from each person are always saved separately and tagged with the commenter’s name.
Important: How Ratings Work
- For each rating item, only the most recent rating entered—by either supervisor or co-planner—is kept.
- If both parties enter a rating for the same item, the last edit becomes the rating of record.
How Comments Work
- All comments are additive.
- No comments are overwritten, removed, or replaced—every comment stays, with the author clearly identified.
Now that the system supports shared participation, we encourage supervisors and co-planners to decide together how they’d like to divide tasks to keep the evaluation cycle running smoothly.
