What We Do
The ODL team provides resources and learning opportunities in support of the development of Mason’s faculty and staff and to help leaders build and sustain high-performing teams. Through our leadership development programs, we encourage supervisors and managers to develop and implement a leadership philosophy and strategies to foster a culture of trust, communication, and collaboration.
We offer organizational development consultation services, beginning with a team needs analysis, followed by a collaborative design process of team interventions such as strategic planning support, facilitation, or change management initiatives. Our team members are trained in a number of assessments, which we use in these initiatives or as a part of the coaching process, as we work to build and broaden leadership competencies across the university. Additionally, we seek to foster and grow a coaching culture at Mason through our developmental workplace coaching program and partnership with executive coaches in Mason’s community.
