We are excited to announce an engaging new feature for HR News – The HR Spotlight Series. This initiative aims to shine a light on the diverse talents and dedicated efforts of Human Resources professionals (both Central HR and liaisons) across George Mason. Our goal is to introduce the faces behind HR, foster a stronger sense of community, and encourage collaboration throughout our university!
Why Participate?
Sharing your bio and photo offers several benefits:
- Connect: Help colleagues and the broader George Mason community put a face to the name.
- Showcase: Highlight your role, achievements, and the unique contributions you make.
- Engage: Foster a sense of camaraderie and team spirit within HR and across the university.
How to Submit:
It’s easy to get involved! Here’s what we need from you:
- Your Bio: Write a brief bio (3-5 sentences) that includes:
- Your full name, current position, and department within the university.
- Your hobbies, passions, or an interesting fact about you.
- Your recommendations: share your favorite places to eat, have lunch around campus, fun things to do on the weekend, or any insider tips you have about George Mason!
- Your favorite part about working at George Mason!
Your Photo: A recent, professional photo of yourself. If you don’t have one, don't worry – we will be organizing headshots soon.
What’s Next?
Once we have collected your submissions, we will feature them in upcoming editions of HR News. This will be an ongoing effort, so feel free to submit whenever you are ready!
