Andrew Lane

Director of Performance Management and Employee Engagement

Andrew possesses a strong background in human resources with more than 20 years of experience, primarily serving in government public service and nonprofit HR roles. He holds a Master of Human Resources Management degree and bachelor degrees in Political Science and History, along with PHR and SHRM-CP certifications. His experience includes talent development, employee relations, recruitment, and performance management.

Stacey Ellis

Faculty/Staff Engagement Program Manager

Stacey Ellis, M.Ed, MS, ATC has a passion for well-being, health, wellness, event planning, team building, and reward/recognition.  As the HR Faculty and Staff Engagement Consultant, Stacey brings 15 years of higher education experience, including diverse experiences in Student and Academic Affairs, and is excited to partner with Mason colleagues to increase employee engagement and satisfaction.  In her free time, Stacey is a sports mom to two boys and enjoys running, paddleboarding, hiking and just about any outdoor adventure!  Stacey encourages all Mason faculty and staff to reach out to establish relationships and brainstorm ways to partner.

Adrianne Jones

Performance Management and
Employee Engagement Specialist

Adrianne holds a master’s degree in Nonprofit Administration and a bachelor's degree in Management. She has worked in various roles at other universities prior to coming to Mason. As the Faculty/Staff Engagement Coordinator, Adrianne plans recognition events and wellness programming, supports work life balance for employees with flexible work, and connects faculty and staff to available resources. In her free time, Adrianne enjoys board games, reading, and exploring local parks.

Tamira Colbert

Faculty/Staff Engagement Assistant

Tamira Colbert helps with planning and executing events hosted by the Faculty and Staff Engagement Team, fulfills award and recognition requests, and designs marketing materials for the team's events, programs, and services. As a George Mason alumna with a BFA in the Fine Arts, Tamira enjoys using her creativity and love of supporting others to celebrate Mason colleagues and their contributions to the university's community. In her spare time, Tamira draws, meditates, and likes to complete jigsaw puzzles and word searches.

Ana Canas

Faculty/Staff Engagement Assistant

Ana's experience in the Human Services field comes from her time working in county government and at nonprofit organizations. She is bilingual (English/Spanish), is a Certified Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Ana is currently pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and a master's degree in Child, Youth, and Family Studies. In her spare time, she enjoys watching documentaries, listening to true crime podcasts, and spending time outdoors anywhere she has views of the Blue Ridge Mountains or bodies of water.
